We had our wedding at the Hartman in Oct. We wanted a cozy, intimate venue, where our guests could come and enjoy the full day at one location. We couldn’t be more grateful that we found the Hartman Venue. We knew from the website it was exactly what we were looking for. It was even more incredible when we saw it in person. Our wedding package included absolutely everything…from flowers to food…every detail was planned, coordinated and executed to perfection by Alex and his amazing team. It was completely stress free. The florist did an incredible job…the food was exceptional…the servers and bartender were amazing. Alex…you and your team are outstanding at what you do. The venue is exceptional and so unique. We couldn’t be more grateful or thankful!
We had a 50th Birthday party this past weekend here. We honestly can't say enough about every aspect of The Hartman. The venue, Laura, Alex, and all the staff made for an incredible evening. Laura was incredibly responsive, and made sure every aspect of the night went of as expected. We had so many of our guests comment on the event, it really made the night so special for us. Always a good experience visiting Black Swallow. Their products are high quality, great for all gardens, even indoors. The service is always great. I've been buying for a few seasons and driving an hour and half from Toronto, it's worth the drive to ensure a productive garden. Highly recommended.
The Hartman was the absolutely perfect venue for our celebration. I had every confidence in Sandra and Alex. The venue was exquisite, the service was excellent and the food was amazing. The guests could not speak highly enough of the chef and the beautiful decor. It was perfect and I am grateful for the lovely memories at The Hartman.
As a florist who has been working in countless event venues, I must say The Hartman is absolutely a charming place and is a gem. The people here are lovely and they listen to their client needs, and there are so many lovely spots and statement pieces to take photos with (architectural details, beautiful garden, chandelier, etc). Perfect venue for hosting your event!

Quaint & lovely local venue - perfect for elopements, bridal or baby showers. It was always our dream to have our wedding ceremony in this historical space. They also offer a BnB service for your wedding night or wedding celebrations.
